LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Stochastic Collapse and Decoherence of a Non-Dissipative Forced Harmonic Oscillator
Careful monitoring of harmonically bound (or as a limiting case, free) masses is the basis of current and future gravitational wave detectors, and of nanomechanical devices designed to access the quantum regime.

To integrate multiple transcriptomics data with severe batch effects for identifying MB subtypes, we developed a novel and accurate computational method named RaMBat, which leveraged subtype‐specific gene expression ranking information instead of absolute gene expression levels to address batch effects of diverse data sources.

A new method of quantization of classical solutions [PDF]
Using stochastic quantization method we derive equations for correlators of quantum fluctuations around the classical solution in the massless phi^4 theory. The obtained equations are then solved in the lowest orders of perturbation theory, and the first

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Computing the bounds on the loss rates [PDF]
We consider an example network where we compute the bounds on cell loss rates. The stochastic bounds for these loss rates using simple arguments lead to models easier to solve.

Iron‐based metallic glass alloys exhibit excellent soft‐magnetic properties, and unprecedented geometrical freedom in the design of soft‐magnetic metallic glass components is made possible by additive manufacturing. An efficient workflow for developing parameters for laser‐based powder bed fusion of a Fe‐based metallic glass alloy is presented along ...

In this experimental study, the mechanical properties of additively manufactured Ti‐6Al‐4V lattice structures of different geometries are characterized using compression, four point bending and fatigue testing. While TPMS designs show superior fatigue resistance, SplitP and Honeycomb lattice structures combine high stiffness and strength. The resulting

The use of random process models and machine learning to analyze the operation of a taxi order service [PDF]
The possibilities of constructing an effective forecast of the number of taxi service orders based on mathematical models are considered. A comparative analysis of the variances of forecasting errors for various stochastic models and models based on ...

Stochastic ordering by g-expectations
We derive sufficient conditions for the convex and monotonic g-stochastic ordering of diffusion processes under nonlinear g-expectations and g-evaluations. Our approach relies on comparison results for forward-backward stochastic differential equations and on several extensions of convexity, monotonicity and continuous dependence properties for the ...
