Some preservation properties of shifted stochastic orders
In this paper, we provide results on preservation of various shifted stochastic orders under the operations of mixtures. These results have been established with respect to up (down) shifted hazard rate order, up (down) shifted reversed hazard rate order

Weak Dependence Notions and Their Mutual Relationships
New weak notions of positive dependence between the components X and Y of a random pair (X,Y) have been considered in recent papers that deal with the effects of dependence on conditional residual lifetimes and conditional inactivity times.

Some characterizations of stochastic orders
In this paper, we define stochastic orders of fuzzy random variables with some properties. Also we define the hazard rate ordering of fuzzy random variables with related properties.

COUNT AND DURATION TIME SERIES WITH EQUAL CONDITIONAL STOCHASTIC AND MEAN ORDERS
We consider a positive-valued time series whose conditional distribution has a time-varying mean, which may depend on exogenous variables. The main applications concern count or duration data.

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Expected Utility Optimization with Convolutional Stochastically Ordered Returns
Expected utility theory is critical for modeling rational decision making under uncertainty, guiding economic agents as they seek to optimize outcomes.

In this paper, we are concerned with the combinations of the stochastic Itô-differential and the arbitrary (fractional) orders derivatives in a neutral differential equation with a stochastic, nonlinear, nonlocal integral condition.

Characterisation of a multivariate stochastic ordering [PDF]
The multivariate stochastic ordering induced by the convex nondecreasing functions compares a combination of size and variability of random vectors. Closely following methods developed by Strassen, we show that two probability measures are ordered in this way if and only if they are the marginals of some submartingale.

Percentile residual life orders [PDF]
In this paper we study a family of stochastic orders of random variables defined via the comparison of their percentile residual life functions. Some interpretations of these stochastic orders are given, and various properties of them are derived. The

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...
