Spectral representation of stochastic integration operators [PDF]

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2022
The spectral representation for stochastic integration operators with respect to the Wiener process is proposed in the form of a composition of spectral characteristics used in the spectral form of mathematical description for control systems.

Stochastic representation of the quantum quartic oscillator

open access: yesSciPost Physics Core, 2023
Recent experimental advances have inspired the development of theoretical tools to describe the non-equilibrium dynamics of quantum systems. Among them an exact representation of quantum spin systems in terms of classical stochastic processes has been proposed.

Matrix-Tilted Archimedean Copulas

open access: yesRisks, 2021
The new class of matrix-tilted Archimedean copulas is introduced. It combines properties of Archimedean and elliptical copulas by introducing a tilting matrix in the stochastic representation of Archimedean copulas, similar to the Cholesky factor for ...

On Contrastive Representations of Stochastic Processes

open access: yesCoRR, 2021
Learning representations of stochastic processes is an emerging problem in machine learning with applications from meta-learning to physical object models to time series. Typical methods rely on exact reconstruction of observations, but this approach breaks down as observations become high-dimensional or noise distributions become complex.

Stochastic representation of processes with resetting

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2022
In this paper we introduce a general stochastic representation for an important class of processes with resetting. It allows to describe any stochastic process intermittently terminated and restarted from a predefined random or non-random point. Our approach is based on stochastic differential equations called jump-diffusion models.

Synchronization of Fractional Stochastic Chaotic Systems via Mittag-Leffler Function

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2022
This paper is involved with synchronization of fractional order stochastic systems in finite dimensional space, and we have tested its time response and stochastic chaotic behaviors.

Stochastic representation of many-body quantum states

open access: yesNature Communications, 2023
The quantum many-body problem is ultimately a curse of dimensionality: the state of a system with many particles is determined by a function with many dimensions, which rapidly becomes difficult to efficiently store, evaluate and manipulate numerically ...

On Properties of the Bimodal Skew-Normal Distribution and an Application

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
The main object of this paper is to develop an alternative construction for the bimodal skew-normal distribution. The construction is based upon a study of the mixture of skew-normal distributions.

Differential form representation of stochastic electromagnetic fields [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Radio Science, 2017
In this work, we revisit the theory of stochastic electromagnetic fields using exterior differential forms. We present a short overview as well as a brief introduction to the application of differential forms in electromagnetic theory.

Learning Stochastic Representations of Geophysical Dynamics [PDF]

open access: yesICASSP 2019 - 2019 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2019
In the last years, Neural Networks have enriched the state-of-the-art in probabilistic modeling. This is principally due to the advances in deep learning which allow a better understanding of complex systems. However, the stochastic representation of spatio-temporal fields is still an open challenge that may benefit from the recent advances in ...
