PolyGraph – Flexible, Biocompatible & Electrically Optimized Graphene‐Polymer Composites for Next‐Generation Neural Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
PolyGraph, a flexible graphene‐polycaprolactone nanocomposite, unites conductivity, biocompatibility, and processability for next‐generation neural interfaces. Fabricated into microneedle arrays with ultra‐flexible backings, PolyGraph enables bidirectional neuronal recording and stimulation in brain tissue, advancing brain‐computer interface (BCI) and ...

Non-Gaussian, non-dynamical stochastic resonance [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The archetypal system demonstrating stochastic resonance is nothing more than a threshold triggered device. It consists of a periodic modulated input and noise. Every time an output crosses the threshold the signal is recorded.

Model‐Driven Optimization of Subcutaneous Polymer Prodrugs Achieves Cancer Remission in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) model was developed to evaluate multiple dosing regimens for subcutaneously administered water‐soluble polymer prodrug for cancer therapy. The model enabled prediction of in vivo performance and contributed to the optimization of anticancer efficacy.

Double Entropic Stochastic Resonance

open access: yes, 2009
We demonstrate the appearance of a purely entropic stochastic resonance (ESR) occurring in a geometrically confined system, where the irregular boundaries cause entropic barriers.

Intelligent Acousto‐Electrical Metamaterials (IAM) for Sound Source Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Our proposed metamaterial concept enables sound source detection using a single material, in contrast to conventional arrays that require dozens or even hundreds of transducers. We show that the coupled acoustic–vibrational–electrical responses in piezoelectric metamaterials give rise to topology‐governed charge transport, producing distinct voltage ...

Stochastic solution framework for the resonance nonlinear Schrödinger model via Brownian motion process [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Advances
Despite substantial research into nonlinear Schrödinger equation equations, present techniques frequently tackle resonant nonlinear dynamics and stochastic perturbations separately, limiting comprehension of their combined impact on wave propagation.

Stochastic resonance crossovers in complex networks. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2012
Here we numerically study the emergence of stochastic resonance as a mild phenomenon and how this transforms into an amazing enhancement of the signal-to-noise ratio at several levels of a disturbing ambient noise.

Resonance phenomena in discrete systems with bichromatic input signal

open access: yes, 2007
We undertake a detailed numerical study of the twin phenomena of stochastic and vibrational resonance in a discrete model system in the presence of bichromatic input signal.

Quantum Forbidden-Interval Theorems for Stochastic Resonance [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We extend the classical forbidden-interval theorems for a stochastic-resonance noise benefit in a nonlinear system to a quantum-optical communication model and a continuous-variable quantum key distribution model.
