Robust detection to stochastic signals (Corresp.)

IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1974
In this correspondence we evaluate both the large and small sample performance of a limiter-quadratic detector (LQD) for the detection of a Gaussian signal in non-Gaussian noise. The LQD is shown to be robust for small as well as large sample sizes.

Compressive sensing detection of stochastic signals

2008 42nd Annual Conference on Information Sciences and Systems, 2008
Inspired by recent work in compressive sensing, we propose a framework for the detection of stochastic signals from optimized projections. In order to generate a good projection matrix, we use dimensionality reduction techniques based on the maximization of the mutual information between the projected signals and their corresponding class labels.

On the Efficient Interpolation of Stochastic Band-Limited Signals*

Electromagnetics, 1996
ABSTRACT Interpolation of stochastic band-limited signals is of relevance both from the theoretical point of view and application purposes. It is well-known that the classical interpolation method for band-limited signals, which follows from the Whittaker-Kotel'nikov- Shannon sampling theorem, provides the appropriate answer to exactly reconstruct them.

Stochastic measurement of PWM signals

Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements. Conference Digest. CPEM 2000 (Cat. No.00CH37031), 2002
Stochastic true RMS instrument has a wide frequency range, since it works with short data, implied by the use of two-bit flash AD converters and a two-bit multiplier-accumulator. Such a simple hardware allows easy multichannel measurement. Both of the above requirements, wide frequency range and necessity of multichannel measurements, are substantial ...

STOCHASTIC SIGNALS DETECTOR

2023
