Stochastic Stability in Monotone Economies [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper presents new order-theoretic conditions for global stability of monotone Markov processes with possibly non-compact state spaces. Our main result shows that a Markov process induced by a continuous and increasing transition law is globally ...

Robust control for discrete-time networked control systems

open access: yes, 2010
This paper considers analysis and synthesis of discrete-time networked control systems (NCSs), where the plant has additive uncertainty and the controller is updated with the sensor information at stochastic time intervals.

Structured stabilization of superlinear neutral stochastic systems by delay feedback control

open access: yesSystems Science & Control Engineering
This paper investigates the stabilization problem for a class of nonlinear hybrid neutral stochastic differential equations (NSDEs) with different structural modes, employing a delay feedback control strategy.

Almost sure exponential stability of numerical solutions for stochastic delay differential equations

open access: yes, 2010
Using techniques based on the continuous and discrete semimartingale convergence theorems, this paper investigates if numerical methods may reproduce the almost sure exponential stability of the exact solutions to stochastic delay differential equations (

Stabilization of Stochastic Dynamic Systems with Markov Parameters and Concentration Point

open access: yesMathematics
This paper addresses the problem of optimal stabilization for stochastic dynamical systems characterized by Markov switches and concentration points of jumps, which is a scenario not adequately covered by classical stability conditions.

Galinstan Liquid Metal/Polyurethane Composite as a Multifunctional Stretchable Electrode and Piezoresistive Strain Sensor With Minimal Drift

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Liquid metal additives are processed in elastomer host resulting in highly conductive and stretchable composites. The material functions as a piezoresistive sensor with minimal drift, low stiffness, and enhanced operating range. The film can replace wires to charge a mobile phone at ∼350% strain and monitors bodily motion in real‐time via a portable ...

Almost sure exponential stability of the Euler–Maruyama approximations for stochastic functional differential equations

open access: yes, 2011
By the continuous and discrete nonnegative semimartingale convergence theorems, this paper investigates conditions under which the Euler–Maruyama (EM) approximations of stochastic functional differential equations (SFDEs) can share the almost sure ...

Mono‐ and Bilayer MoS2 Photodetectors: High‐Performance Broadband AC Readout With Color‐Selective Noise Suppression

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Mono‐ and bilayer MoS2 photodetectors enable wavelength‐selective AC photoresponse and optically driven capacitance modulation under visible illumination. Green excitation produces the strongest cumulative capacitive response, consistent with trap‐mediated charge accumulation at mono/bilayer and metal–MoS2 interfaces.

Information Transmission Strategies for Self‐Organized Robotic Aggregation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
In this review, we discuss how information transmission influences the neighbor‐based self‐organized aggregation of swarm robots. We focus specifically on local interactions regarding information transfer and categorize previous studies based on the functions of the information exchanged.
