Vestibular Function Pre‐ and Post‐cochlear Implantation in Adult Patients With Inner Ear Malformations: A Retrospective Cohort Study

Sensory Neuroscience, EarlyView.
This study investigated vestibular function in 129 adult patients with inner ear malformations (IEMs). The superior semicircular canal showed less impairment than the horizontal and posterior canals. Notably, cochlear implantation did not significantly exacerbate vestibular dysfunction at 12 months postoperatively.
