Hydrogel‐Based Airway‐on‐Tube With Perfusable Endothelial Lumen and Outward Epithelialization
A hydrogel‐based airway‐on‐tube platform featuring a perfusable endothelial lumen and outward epithelialization is presented. The system supports primary human bronchial epithelial and lung microvascular endothelial coculture under air‐liquid interface conditions.

As lensing of coherent astrophysical sources, e.g., pulsars, fast radio bursts, and gravitational waves, becomes observationally relevant, the mathematical framework of Picard–Lefschetz theory has recently been introduced to fully account for wave optics

ABSTRACT Accurately knowing the frontier orbital energies of the structurally disordered small‐molecule organic semiconductors that are used in optoelectronic devices such as organic light‐emitting diodes is required to rationally improve their performance. Here, we show that these energies can be deduced with a large accuracy from the peak energies of

Numerical Study of 2D Incompressible Flow in a Rectangular Domain using Chorin’s Projection Method at High Reynolds Number [PDF]
In this paper the problem of a 2-D incompressible flow in a rectangular domain is analyzed. Numerical solutions of the governing equations are obtained by using Chorin’s Projection method.

We developed a new series of monomeric (MY) and dimeric acceptors incorporating unfused (DY1) and fused (DY2) linkers, which establish a controlled self‐aggregation trend of MY > DY2 > DY1. The DY2‐based system yields a bulk‐heterojunction nanoparticle morphology that appears to balance phase separation and interfacial accessibility, consistent with ...

This work presents soft, degradable hydrogel microcarriers that combine magnetic responsiveness with the ability to host multiple therapeutic and cellular components. Produced by droplet microfluidics, the carriers maintain structural integrity during manipulation, permit controlled breakdown under physiological conditions, and enable guided motion for

Near‐Unity Chiral Lasing Enabled by Quasi‐Bound States in the Continuum
Nanoimprinted chiral array that supports bound states in the continuum is doped with an efficient non‐chiral molecule (Rhodamine‐B) acting as gain medium to produce fully circularly polarized lasing emission. The chiral lasing wavelength can be tuned across the emission band of Rhodamine‐B by adjusting the coating thickness of the TiO2 high refractive ...

Influence of the wall roughness on a linear shear flow [PDF]
In this paper, we will be interested in the viscous flow fluid over a rough wall which has a periodic roughness and small amplitude. The Reynolds number for the flow over a rough wall is low and the creeping flow equations apply.

A hierarchical hydrogel evaporator with a thin, porous photothermal layer of fused core–shell carbon‐polymer nanospheres enables ultrafast interfacial solar evaporation with minimized heat loss and sufficient water supply. Directional advection‐dominated brine transport, coupled with Marangoni‐driven interfacial flow, drives salt away from the active ...
