Redshifting TADF Emission With a Bora‐Triptycene Lewis Acid
Bathochromic emission shifting of donor–acceptor and multi‐resonant TADF emitters is achieved by adduct formation with a thia‐bora‐triptycene Lewis acid. TADF properties are retained on adduct formation whilst delivering > 100 nm redshift of the emission.

One‐Step Access to Ultra‐Bright Macrocyclic Oligo‐BODIPYs Featuring Long‐Lived Cyclic Excitons
Strong Fluorescence Meets Long Lifetimes: A template‐free, one‐step synthesis affords a series of methylene‐bridged macrocyclic oligo‐BODIPYs combining strong fluorescence with exceptionally long fluorescence lifetimes. Steady‐state and time‐resolved optical spectroscopy reveal unique excitonic coupling conditions and unusual size‐dependent ...

To Greater Twist: A Kinetically Biased π‐Radical Cascade
π‐Radical cascades enable step‐economic construction of complex polycyclic aromatic frameworks. In this work, we show that a multifurcating pathway can be kinetically steered toward a single, more distorted product. This counterintuitive “falling‐upward” outcome arises from an intrinsic mechanistic bias, revealing a broader dimension of control in π ...

PQB‐4, a fluorescent small‐molecule ligand that targets c‐MYC DNA G‐quadruplexes (G4s), showed marked synergy with gemcitabine in resistant PANC‐1 cells (CI = 0.027). In vivo, the ligand reduced tumor weight by 44% in a PANC‐1 xenograft model. These results highlight the therapeutic potential of c‐MYC DNA G4‐targeting ligands for treating gemcitabine ...

Guest transport across metal–organic framework (MOF) single crystals disentangles transport occurring through the micropores from contributions at grain boundaries. Even guest molecules with identical kinetic diameters show drastically different transport behavior arising from the distinct modes of adsorption. Neither pore clogging nor surface collapse

Low‐Threshold Red Lasing in Diketopyrrolopyrrole‐Based Organic Semiconductor Films
Low‐threshold organic semiconductor lasers (OSLs) in the red region are achieved using diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) derivatives (DPA‐DPPMe and HMAT‐d‐DPP). Molecular design enables precise control of radiative‐decay and molecular orientation, suppressing optical losses and enhancing gain.

Numerical Simulation of Electrodialysis Desalination for Multicomponent Salt Lake Brine
ABSTRACT Electrodialysis (ED) technology is presently recognized as an effective approach for extracting lithium from salt lake brine. This study concentrates on modeling the ED desalination process applied to multicomponent salt lake brine and equivalent NaCl solutions.

ABSTRACT Enhancing oil recovery (EOR) in mature reservoirs is hindered by high interfacial tension (IFT) and oil‐wet rock formations, especially under harsh, high‐salinity conditions. This study aims to overcome these limitations by synthesizing a novel carbon nanotube nanocomposite covalently grafted with polyethylenimine and non‐covalently ...

ABSTRACT Efficient removal of liquid aerosols from compressed gas streams is essential in chemical and energy processes. Conventional separators relying on a single mechanism (inertial or centrifugal) struggle to capture both fine and coarse droplets simultaneously.

Computational fluid dynamics simulations of airflow through the nasal passages of rhinolophoid bats
Abstract The nasal passages of bats that emit their echolocation call through their nostrils have adapted for sound emission as well as standard respiratory and olfactory functions. Rhinolophids, hipposiderids and rhinonycterids all use a high duty cycle (HDC) echolocation strategy.
