A novel biomimetic liposome drug delivery system mediated by macrophage targeting for precision treatment of encephalitis

BMEMat, EarlyView.
An advanced macrophage‐mediated biomimetic liposome (AC‐LP@RAW) that can penetrate the BBB and precisely target inflammatory sites in the deep brain was established in this study based on the unique immune homing property of macrophages, and showed a significantly improved delivery of curcumin to the brain.

Effect of Reynolds Number on the Stokes Number of Cyclones

By using dimensional analysis, the Stokes number based on the cut diameter was predicted to be a function of the Reynolds number and the geometry of the cyclone. Data from various investigators were plotted versus the Reynolds number. At lower Reynolds numbers, the Stokes number decreased with increasing Reynolds number.

On the instability of Stokes layers at high Reynolds numbers

The inviscid instability of Stokes layers is investigated. The Stokes layer is shown to support inviscid Floquet modes at sufficiently high values of the disturbance wavenumbers. Other non-Floquet modes are investigated and are shown to be the likely cause for instability in Stokes layers.
