The Relationship Between Inflammation and Central Nervous System in Multiple Sclerosis
Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Aim
Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune demyelination disease that is seen especially in the young population and has a progressive course, causing motor, sensory, and cognitive deficits. In the literature, the pathogenesis of MS disease and the interconnection between the immune and central nervous system in the disease have not been fully ...Gamze Ansen, Ali Behram Salar, Abdulkadir Ermis, Erkingul Birday, Lutfu Hanoglu, Bayram Ufuk Sakul +5 morewiley +1 more sourceLessons Learned: Quality Analysis of Optical Coherence Tomography in Neuromyelitis Optica
Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Introduction
Optical coherence tomography (OCT)‐derived retina measurements are markers for neuroaxonal visual pathway status. High‐quality OCT scans are essential for reliable measurements, but their acquisition is particularly challenging in eyes with severe visual impairment, as often observed in neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders ...Hadi Salih, Sara Samadzadeh, Charlotte Bereuter, Seyedamirhosein Motamedi, Claudia Chien, Pablo Villoslada, Hadas Stiebel‐Kalish, Nasrin Asgari, Yang Mao‐Draayer, Marius Ringelstein, Joachim Havla, Marco Aurélio Lana Peixoto, Ho Jin Kim, Jacqueline Palace, Maria Isabel Leite, Srilakshmi M. Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
We present the case of a 28‐year‐old right‐handed woman with medically refractory focal epilepsy. Her seizure semiology and electroencephalography (EEG) indicated a seizure onset zone in the right central‐parietal area. However, both MRI and PET scans were unremarkable, showing no focal lesions or areas of altered metabolism.Rishi Sharma, Ilo Leppik, Thomas Henry, Thaddeus Walczak, Sima Patel, Robert McGovern +5 morewiley +1 more sourceCancer incidence and mortality worldwide: Sources, methods and major patterns in GLOBOCAN 2012

Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objective
Neuropsychiatric symptoms are among the most prevalent sequelae of COVID‐19, particularly among hospitalized patients. Recent research has identified volumetric brain changes associated with COVID‐19. However, it currently remains poorly understood how brain changes relate to post‐COVID fatigue and cognitive deficits.Tim J. Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
Tyrosine kinase inhibitors are the cornerstone of chronic myeloid leukemia treatment. Newer agents have more potency and a broader spectrum of action, but also a higher potential for neuropsychiatric side effects. We present a case of a patient on imatinib who developed progressive cognitive, mood, and behavioral alterations.Ashley Jones, Samuele Bonomi, Keith E. Stockerl‐Goldstein, Randall J.
