Analysis of the Tooth Surface Modeling and Honing Characteristic of Internal Gear Honing Stone based on Matlab

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2016
Based on the processing principle analysis of internal gear honing, the space coordinates system of honing stone and workpiece are built and the contact line equation of workpiece and the tooth surface equation of honing stone are derived by the contact ...

O cruzeiro medieval de Tavira

open access: yesMedievalista, 2020
For centuries ignored or wrongly identified as a chapiter or part of a pillory, it is possible that the carved stone piece stored in the municipal museum of Tavira (Palácio da Galeria) – so far only identified with the code MMT228 – is actually an ...

Mitigating Concentration Polarization in Dry‐Processed Ultra‐Thick Cathodes Using a Low‐Viscosity Electrolyte With Soft Li+ Solvation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A low‐viscosity, soft‐solvating methyl ethanoate (ME)‐based electrolyte facilitates electrolyte infiltration into dense dry‐processed ultra‐thick NCM622 cathodes while reducing Li+ desolvation barriers at Li‐metal anodes. Balanced cathode‐scale ion transport and anode‐side interfacial kinetics mitigate concentration polarization and interfacial ...

Mechanisms of Degradation in Li‐Ion Batteries Under Low Temperature Exposures

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐temperature exposures, or freeze‐thaw cycles, are observed to significantly accelerate the degradation of Li‐ion batteries. A combination of electrolyte phase separation and mechanochemical stress leads to reversible and irreversible performance losses.

The Smirnov compactification as a quotient space of the Stone-Čech compactification

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1988
For a separated proximity space, a decomposition of the Stone-Čech compactification is presented which produces the Smirnov compactification and its basic properties by elementary arguments without recourse to clusters or totally bounded uniformities.

Electrostatic Superlattices Beyond 1:1 Stoichiometry

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polymer‐mediated charge regulation drives two hierarchical routes to higher‐stoichiometry nanoparticle superlattices. Tuning the polymer's molecular weight promotes progressive interstitial filling, transforming ZnS into the fully occupied CaF2${\rm CaF}_2$ lattice. Exchanging polymer assignment between large and small nanoparticles instead breaks CsCl

The late prehistoric standing stones of the Tihâma (Yemen): the domestication of space and the construction of human-landscape identity

open access: yesRevue des Mondes Musulmans et de la Méditerranée, 2008
Recent fieldwork conducted along the Tihâma coastal plain has illuminated a late prehistoric megalithic culture that extends the length of the Red Sea coast of Yemen. To date, seven sites comprising megalithic elements have been documented in the region.

Flash Assembloids: A Rapid Biofabrication of a Platform for Modeling Early Glioblastoma Invasion at the Glioblastoma–Brain Organoid Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a bioengineered assembloid (ASM) system combining glioblastoma (GBM) cells in oxidized alginate (OA) microgels with dorsal organoids (DOs). This model simulates brain tumor‐host interactions, revealing enhanced GBM invasion, altered gene expression, and aggressive infiltration patterns, demonstrating ASM as a valuable platform for ...

Evaluation of Dimensional Accuracy of Master Models as a Function of Different Thickness of Wash Impression Material (Rapid) in Two Step Technique

open access: yesمجله دانشکده دندانپزشکی اصفهان, 2006
Introduction: Impression making is one of the most important steps in fixed prosthodontics. Due to contra-dictory opinions on the issue of the accuracy of silicone impression material as a function of technique, this study was carried out to assess the ...
