Caracterización cerámica de los sedimentos de la Albufera de Valencia
The Albufera is recognised as Natural Park by Generalitat Valenciana decree of 8´th July 1989 and is listed on the wet areas of international importance of the Ramsar Conference since 8´th May 1990. Batimetry studies show the gradual full up of the lake.

Deep Abrasion Resistance of Porcelain Stoneware Tiles: An Updated Look
When we were working on improving the resistance to deep abrasion of porcelain stoneware tiles, several tiles which had a very high resistance to abrasion were found in the market. The abraded volume of these tiles, measured via ISO 10545-6 method, was conspicuously less than 75 mm3. These values were well below the standard limit (<175 mm3) and

Microstructure and technological properties of porcelain stoneware tiles moulded
Moulding pressure and thickness are pre-fixed variables in the porcelain stoneware tile industry. This paper examines the effect of both parameters on technological and microstructure properties of unfired and fired porcelain stoneware bodies. The moulding pressure in unfired tiles has a noticeable effect on bending strength and load borne.

An insight into pyroplasticity of porcelain stoneware tiles
Pyroplasticity is active when sintering acts through viscous flow of an abundant amorphous phase, as typical of porcelain stoneware. It has become increasingly important in ceramic tile making with the development of large sizes, rectangular shapes, low thickness, and with use of vigorous fluxes and micronized fillers.

Porcelain stoneware tiles with antimicrobial action
Ceramics International, 2014Abstract This work reports the development of extruded porcelain stoneware tiles that show antimicrobial (to act as a barrier to the bacteria's growth during a long period of time), and anti-stain (easy to clean) actions, and possess high chemical resistance.
