Workplace Violence in Indonesian Clinical Learning Environments: Cultural and Organisational Contexts Shaping Nursing Students' Experiences

open access: yesNursing Inquiry, Volume 33, Issue 4, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Workplace violence in clinical learning environments is increasingly recognised as a threat to nursing education and workforce sustainability, yet it is often understood as a series of isolated incidents rather than as a condition shaped by broader cultural and organisational forces.

Low‐Complexity Phase–Transition‐Based VO2 Transmissive Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface for Indoor Millimeter‐Wave Communications

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 17, 11 September 2026.
We demonstrate a VO2‐based transmissive reconfigurable intelligent surface for indoor millimeter‐wave communication. The TRIS replaces conventional PIN and varactor diodes with geometrically tailored VO2 switches, enabling transmitted phase control through phase‐transition‐based switching.

Dosimetric impact of aperture‐restricted VMAT on heart dose in breast cancer treated with regional nodal irradiation

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 27, Issue 9, September 2026.
Abstract Background Volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) is increasingly used for breast and chest wall (CW) treatment with regional nodal irradiation (RNI) because of its ability to sculpt dose around complex target volumes. However, VMAT can increase low‐dose radiation to surrounding normal tissues and particularly increase cardiac dose.

Self‐Service and Home Delivery Combined: Coordinating the Route of a Mobile Parcel Locker With the Delivery Tasks of Its Human Driver

open access: yesNetworks, Volume 88, Issue 2, Page 192-210, September 2026.
ABSTRACT In response to the increasing volume of parcels, last‐mile delivery innovations are exploring the integration of multiple delivery modes. The most prominent examples are delivery vans that, next to being the base for the delivery tasks of their human drivers, also function as mobile launching platforms for drones or autonomous delivery robots.

A Case Report on Rehabilitation of the Asiatic Black Bear (Ursus thibetanus ussuricus) in the Wild 亚洲黑熊 (Ursus thibetanus ussuricus) 野外放归野化案例报告

open access: yesWildlife Letters, Volume 4, Issue 3, Page 139-148, September 2026.
Asiatic black bears in Russia face conservation threats such as habitat destruction and fragmentation, which exacerbate food shortages caused by crop failures. This study explores an innovative approach to rehabilitating bears that abandon hibernation in mid‐winter due to extreme exhaustion by providing supplemental food near their den sites.

Obtaining Local‐Tie Vectors From Short‐Baseline Interferometry Between Legacy S/X and VGOS Telescopes at Ny‐Ålesund

open access: yesRadio Science, Volume 61, Issue 9, September 2026.
Abstract With the ongoing transition for geodetic Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) from the use of legacy S/X telescopes to the VLBI Global Observing System (VGOS), it is necessary to connect the new VGOS network to the existing legacy S/X telescopes.
