Decision tools for grain storage pest management
Journal of Stored Products Research, 1997The application of a range of decision tools to the management of pests in stored grain is discussed. Included in this review are: Knowledge Acquisition and Surveys, Decision Analysis, Modelling and Expert Systems. A project integrating a number of these techniques, to provide a coherent training system, is also described.

Storage insect pests and their damage symptoms: an overview
Indian Journal of Entomology, 2016Stored product pests gain access to the grain storage from the standing crop in the field to various stages of grain processing and storage. Although, about one thousand species of insects have been associated with stored products in different parts of the world, a few pests are considered as pests causing severe damage to the stored grains. The stored

Cold Storage of Insects for Integrated Pest Management
2019Insects and mites that are mass-produced under factory-like conditions are those arthropods primarily employed in biological control, such as phytophages, parasitoids, and predators, or it may be the target pest insect itself that has been reared and then sexually sterilized for use in the sterile insect technique (SIT).
