STR data for AmpF/STR Profiler Plus loci in south Poland

Forensic Science International, 2001
Frequency data of short tandem repeats (STR) loci included in the AmpF/STR Profiler Plus kit were collected from a sample of 253 random, unrelated individuals born in the south Poland region. All loci met Hardy-Weinberg expectation.

STR data for 15 autosomal STR markers from Paraná (Southern Brazil)

International Journal of Legal Medicine, 2013
Allelic frequencies for 15 STR autosomal loci, using AmpFℓSTR® Identifiler™, forensic, and statistical parameters were calculated. All loci reached the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The combined power of discrimination and mean power of exclusion were 0.999999999999999999 and 0.9999993, respectively.

Optimization of STR locus enrichment for STR profiling of fragmented DNA

ELECTROPHORESIS, 2014
DNA degradation is a major obstacle in gaining an accurate profile with standard DNA typing technology. Although alternative genotyping strategies such as mini‐STRs and SNPs have proven to be more successful in profiling degraded DNA, these approaches also have limitations.

Y Chromosome STR Typing

2004
Because of their unique transmission properties and male specificity, markers located on the nonrecombining region of the Y chromosome (NRY) have become an important tool in forensic investigation. In the past few years, more than 50 polymorphic Y chromosome-specific short tandem repeats (STRs) have been described and a set of 9 loci were selected ...

Osoriellus -, s. str.

2014
Osoriellus - s. str. -group The species group is defined by the characters described by FAGEL (1959) for the genus Osoriellus: no digits at the outer edge of the protibia, narrow lateral margin of the pronotum, sides of the pronotum evenly curved from anterior to posterior angles and asymmetric aedeagus with lateral opening.

Constructing STR Multiplex Assays

2004
Multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) refers to the simultaneous amplification of multiple regions of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) using PCR. Commercial short tandem repeat (STR) assays that can coamplify as many as 16 different loci have become widely used in forensic DNA typing. This chapter will focus on some of the aspects of constructing robust

Str+ve $$\subseteq$$ : The Str+ve-based subset prover

1990
Str+ve [7], a prover for inequalities, employs a highly restrictive and successful strategy for implementing the transitivity property of < and the interpolation axiom of the reals. In str+ve, transitivity is carried out by chaining and interpolation by variable elimination.
