Equation of state of strange quark matter and strange star
Physical Review D, 1991Using a relativistic version of the Landau theory of a Fermi liquid and a density-dependent quark-mass approach to confinement, the equation of state of strange quark matter has been derived. This equation of state is used to study the stability and some global properties of a strange quark star.

Neutrino emissivity of strange quark matter
Physical Review D, 1990We study the neutrino emissivity of three-flavor degenerate "strange matter" by using a thermodynamic potential calculated to second order in ${\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{c}$ and by solving the Gell-Mann-Low equation for the screened charge ${\ensuremath{\alpha}}_{c}$. No reduction in the emissivity at higher densities is found.

Strangeness in paradise: The strange quark as a probe of QCD
Acta Physica Hungarica A) Heavy Ion Physics, 1996I review the arguments for considering the strange quark as a probe of changes in the QCD vacuum, and of the formation of a quark-gluon plasma, in particular. I survey existing data showing enhanced production of strange hadrons in relativistic heavy ion collisions and analyse their implications in the context of thermal and microscopic reaction models.
