Abstract In this study, the properties, equilibrium, and stability of compact objects within the framework of teleparallel gravity with the generalized MIT bag model are investigated. By incorporating the modified field equations, the influence of the generalized bag constant on the structure and physical characteristics of quark stars and neutron ...

A strange contribution to the neutron EDM
We analyze the contribution of hypothetical quark electric dipoles to the electric dipole moment (EDM) of the neutron. Particular emphasis is devoted to the strange quark contribution.

Recent results from the G0 experiment
We have measured parity violating asymmetries in elastic electron-proton and quasi-elastic electrondeuteron scattering at backward electron angle. These measurements have been done at two momentum transfers : Q2 = 0.22 and 0.63 (GeV/c)2 .

Inverse moment of the B s -meson distribution amplitude from QCD sum rule
We derive a QCD sum rule for the inverse moment of the B s -meson light-cone distribution amplitude in HQET. Within this method, the SU(3) f l symmetry violation is traced to the strange quark mass and to the difference between strange and nonstrange ...

A Relativistic Compact Stellar Model of Anisotropic Quark Matter Mixed with Dark Energy
The possibility of strange stars mixed with dark energy to be one of the candidates for dark energy stars is the main issue of the present study. Our investigation shows that quark matter atcs as dark energy after a certain yet unknown critical condition

The paper discusses the role of scale anomaly in generating edge electric currents via the scale magnetic effect in scalar electrodynamics. Although the boundary electric current is much weaker than the Meissner current induced in superconducting materials, the scale anomaly can enhance conductivity near the boundary of the material.

Strange matter in compact stars
We discuss possible scenarios for the existence of strange matter in compact stars. The appearance of hyperons leads to a hyperon puzzle in ab-initio approaches based on effective baryon-baryon potentials but is not a severe problem in relativistic mean ...

Strange Tribaryons as Nona-Quark States [PDF]
Strange tribaryons as nona-quark (9 quark) states is studied to describe the S=-1 resonance S^0(3115) recently discovered in the reaction K- + ^4 He -> S^0 + p. We have identified S^0(3115) as a member of the flavor 27-plet, in particular, (F_{flavor},I_{isospin},J_{spin})=(27,1,1/2) or (27,1,3/2).

Quantum Anomalies in Condensed Matter
Quantum materials provide a fertile ground in which to test and realize quantum anomalies predicted by quantum field theory. Quantum anomalies need to be canceled globally, however, quantum states with a quantum anomaly can exist at the boundary of topological materials.

Exploring S-wave threshold effects in QCD: A heavy-light approach
QCD exhibits complex dynamics near S-wave two-body thresholds. For light mesons, we see this in the failure of quark models to explain the f0(500) and K0⁎(700) masses. For charmonium, an unexpected X(3872) state appears at the open charm threshold.
