Looking for Strange Quark Matter in Cosmic Rays.
Usually it is supposed that the definition of the CR mass composition in knee region is the key to problem of CR spectrum modification in this range. However tens of the experiments were done for the last half of century and have not decided this problem

Searching for Strange Quark Matter Objects in Exoplanets
Abstract The true ground state of hadronic matter may be strange quark matter (SQM). Consequently, observed pulsars may actually be strange quark stars, but not neutron stars. However, proving or disproving the SQM hypothesis still remains a difficult problem to solve due to the similarity between the macroscopical characteristics of ...

Quarkyonic solution to the hyperon puzzle [PDF]
We show that Quarkyonic Matter can mitigate the hyperon puzzle. The key observation is that the hyperon threshold is shifted to a higher density by a factor of constituent strange quark mass.

The properties of strange quark matter and evolution of strange quark stars
In this work, we study the properties of strange quark matter and reveal the evolution process of strange quark stars employing a self consistent thermodynamic treatment. A comprehensive and reliable thermodynamic basis for the study of the dynamic evolution from proto-strange quark stars to stable strange stars at a zero temperature is provided.

Clustered Quark Matter Calculation for Strange Quark Matter
Motivated by the need for a solid state strange quark matter to better explain some observational phenomena, we discussed possibility of color singlet cluster formation in cold strange quark matter by a rough calculation following the excluded volume method proposed by Clark et al (1986) and adopted quark mass density dependent model with cubic scaling.

Strange quark matter with effective quark masses
The properties of strange quark matter at zero temperature are investigated including medium effects. The quarks are considered as quasiparticles which acquire an effective mass generated by the interaction with the other quarks of the dense system. Within this approach we find that these medium effects reduce the binding energy of strange quark matter

This article describes the configuration of strange quark stars composed of three flavour quarks in hydrostatic equilibrium considering the energy density profile of Mak and Harko and non-zero strange quark mass ( $$m_s\ne {0}$$ m s ≠ 0 ).
