Tidal Deformability of Strange Quark Planets and Strange Dwarfs [PDF]
Strange quark matter, which is composed of u, d, and s quarks, could be the true ground of matter. According to this hypothesis, compact stars may actually be strange quark stars, and there may even be stable strange quark dwarfs and strange quark planets.

Short-Lived Resonances as Probes of the Medium Produced in Heavy-Ion Collisions
Hadronic resonances play an important role in the study of the physics of heavy-ion collisions. In these proceedings, we discuss how the resonances can probe the reaction dynamics, the strangeness production and the properties of the hadronic phase in ...

Strangeness on the nucleon [PDF]
Observables from parity violation in elastic electron-nucleon scattering and neutral current quasi-elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering are employed as tools to improve the current knowledge on the strangeness content in the nucleon.

The plastic entries of compositional structure in the work of artist "John Morris" and its aesthetic influence on the wooden work of the students of the Faculty of Specific Education, Fayoum University [PDF]
The research deals with the analytical study of the intellectual and aesthetic approaches to structural constructivism in the works of the Australian artist "John Morris", who gained international fame due to his artistic success, which is due to his ...

Case Presentation: A 16-year-old female presented to the emergency department with acute onset of right lower quadrant abdominal pain for several hours. The patient was afebrile and physical examination was notable for isolated tenderness in the right lower quadrant. Ultrasound and computed tomography demonstrated an adnexal cystic structure.

PRODUCTION OF K*(892) MESONS IN CU+AU COLLISIONS AT √(s_NN) = 200 GEV
In this paper we measured invariant transverse momentum spectra and nuclear modification factors of K*(892)-mesons in Cu + Au collisions at √(s_NN ) = 200 GeV.

We study the properties of strange mesons in vacuum and in the hot nuclear medium within unitarized coupled-channel effective theories. We determine transition probabilities, cross sections and scattering lengths for strange mesons. These scattering observables are of fundamental importance for understanding the dynamics of strangeness production and ...

Nuclear matter, at sufficiently energy density and high temperature, undergoes a transition to a state of strongly interacting QCD matter in which quarks and gluons are not confined known as the Quark–Gluon Plasma (QGP).

Yemaya – Królowa Mórz. Przyczynek do analizy sytuacji dziecka w kontakcie z obcością [PDF]
The article presents an academic reflection on the experiencing and familiarising of strangeness. A theatrical performance for children, Yemaya - Queen of the Seas, is the base for a consideration of dealing with strangeness and the social changes ...

Strangeness Production in Chemically Non-Equilibrated Parton Plasma [PDF]
Strangeness production was investigated during the equilibration of a gluon dominated parton plasma produced at RHIC and LHC energies. The time evolution of parton densities are followed by a set of rate equations in a 1-dimensional expanding system. The
