Mining induced strata movement and roof behavior in underground coal mine [PDF]
The fracturing and caving process of key strata in overburden strata and the distribution law of abutment stress over key strata and immediate roof are investigated and the effect of the rupture of key strata on abutment stress in coal rib and the subsidence of earth’s surface are also analyzed.

Mechanisms of Mining Seismicity under Large Scale Exploitation with Multikey Strata
The dynamic disasters are aggravating with the increase of exploitation scale and intensity in Chinese coal mines, to further understand this problem, we studied the mechanisms of mining tremors induced by key strata movement and instability under large ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

AbstractThe overburden movement in cemented backfill mining is different from what it is in traditional longwall mining. This paper analyses the overburden movement in cemented backfill mining by using computer simulated model, observes the overburden movement in different mining advances distance, compares to traditional longwall mining and finds the ...

Geology of the Tehachapi Mountains, California [PDF]
The San Joaquin-Sacramento Valley, also known as the Great Valley of California, separates the Coast Ranges on the west from the Sierra Nevada on the east. The southern part of this major physiographic and structural province is about 50 miles in average

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Biogeographic analysis of the Tortugas Ecological Reserve: Examining the refuge effect following reserve establishment [PDF]
Almost 120 days at sea aboard three NOAA research vessels and one fishing vessel over the past three years have supported biogeographic characterization of Tortugas Ecological Reserve (TER).

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.
