Critical metals in strategic photovoltaic technologies: abundance versus recyclability
Progress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, 2012ABSTRACTResearch efforts have been directed toward photovoltaic technologies using “abundant” base metals such as copper and zinc (e.g., CZTS or more recently CZTSSe) to overcome the material constraint challenges posed by tellurium, indium, germanium and gallium in current generation technologies (e.g., CdTe, CIGS, a‐Si/thin‐film Si).

Technological mineralogy of strategic metal ores: achievements, problems, prospects
Vestnik of geosciencesMineralogical-analytical methods and methodologies for predictive assessment of solid minerals essentially determine the feasibility and tactics of developing raw materials, and, if necessary, the possibility of replacing, first of all, strategic raw materials with others.

Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry
The distinctive physicochemical attributes of ultra-small metal nanoclusters (MNCs) resembling those of molecules make them versatile constituents for self-assembled frameworks. This critical review scrutinizes the influence of assembly on the photoluminescence (PL) properties of MNCs and investigates their utility in biosensing applications.

Strategic Pricing with Customer Rationing: The Case of Primary Metals
The Canadian Journal of Economics, 1991Firms in primary-metal industries often charge subcompetitive prices, and, in periods of high demand, they may ration their customers. A model is developed to ex- plain these empirical regularities. In the model, firms with market power are aware that the price they charge today affects their demand tomorrow.
