In this study, we demonstrated that the gut microbial communities of BSFL play an important role in enhancing the reduction of Salmonella. Using culturomic and in vivo tests, we isolated functional gut bacteria from the gut of BSFL that enhance the biosafety of organic waste conversion by BSFL.
