Practice of Environment Management in the Wheat Straw Pulping Workshop
Advanced Materials Research, 2011Environment management is of great consequence in the wheat straw pulping workshop. It contributes to the health of workers and prolongs the service life of mechanical and electric equipment. In this paper, reasons for waste liquor, waste steam, corrosive gas, foam were analyzed. Some special solutions were put forward.

Journal of Cleaner Production, 2020
Abstract The annual double-cropping system of winter wheat-summer maize on the North China Plain has caused severe land degradation, particularly soil infertility due to the biannual tillage and straw removal. Two field experiments were conducted from 2012 to 2014.

Integrated rice straw–urea management for transplanted rice
The Journal of Agricultural Science, 1996SUMMARYFour field experiments were conducted over the 1992 and 1993 seasons (southwest monsoon seasons, June–October) in the warm subhumid tropical region on the west coast of the Maharashtra State, India. The objective was to investigate the effect of recycling limited amounts of rice straw (RS) (as a source of K and Si) integrated with the use of ...

Paddy straw management: A potential approach to a sustainable agriculture
Vantage: Journal of Thematic Analysis, 2022Paddy straw is the vegetative part of rice plant which is left behind after harvesting the grains. It is the most abundant lignocellulosic waste material amounting to 731 million tons/year. Management of paddy straw remains a challenge in Asia where more rice is grown each year to meet rising hunger demands. The widespread burning of paddy straw in the

Fungal Biotechnology for Effective Cereal Straw Management
1999Cereal crops, probably the oldest crops grown by man, still retain a dominant position in world agriculture constituting staple food in most parts of the world. The quantities of nutrients temporarily immobilised in chaff, straw, stubble and roots probably equal the nutrients removed in the grain (Pierce, 1978).

Economic assessment of cereal straw management in sicily
2017The cereal sector plays a very significant socio-economic role in various areas of the Mediterranean because it generates income and employment both up and downstream of each crop cultivation. Considering the growing interest of the scientific world in agro-environmental themes and the green economy, apart the products by agro-food industry, cereals in

Rice straw management practices and GHGs emission
Agriculture contributes to anthropogenic global warming by causing emissions of important greenhouse gases (GHGs) such as methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2) [1]. Among the agronomic crops, rice (Oryza sativa L.) represents a major concern to scientific community, because its global warming potential is approximately four times ...Cinzia De Benedictis +5 more

Harvesting rice straw management synergies for lifecycle environmental and economic sustainability
Science of The Total EnvironmentRice is a critical global staple food; however, its production is a substantial contributor to greenhouse gas emissions. The burning of rice straw (RS), a byproduct of the harvest, further exacerbates global warming by emitting greenhouse gases and air pollutants, such as particulate matter, contributing to biodiversity loss and soil fertility ...
