Unsteady streamflow modeling guidelines
Journal of Hydrology, 1979Abstract Presented herein is a case study of one-dimensional modeling of spatially varied unsteady flow regime in a river, utilizing the continuity and momentum formulations of Saint-Venant equations. Advances in Water Resources, 2004Groundwater management models that combine optimization methods with coupled stream/aquifer simulation models are considered. Designing algorithms to solve these problems benefits from improved understanding of the nature of the functional relationship between well extraction and streamflow.
