Trace elements in the summer street-dust of Oslo.

This tecnical report describes a study on the elemental composition of the street-dust of Oslo, carried out during the summer of 1994. The statistical preparation of the sampling campaign, the analysis of the samples by ICP-MS and the interpretation of the results with the help of multivariate statistical techniques are presented in detail.

Pituitary abscess syndrome in a greater kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros)

Abstract An adult male greater kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) presented for a fractured distal left horn. Twelve weeks later, lethargy, pruritus and left periocular swelling were noted. Avulsion of the left horn occurred 1 month later, revealing a necrotic horn base.
