The nomenclature of some fossil and extant homonyms of Typha (Typhaceae) is resolved. Fossil Typha elongata P.I. Dorofeev 1982, being an illegitimate later homonym of extant Typha elongata Pauquy 1834, is renamed T. asiatica nom. nov.

Boreocarya and Globocarya, new names in the extinct Juglandaceae of Northern Eurasia
Sphaerocarya Dorofeev 1970, being a junior homonym of extant angiosperms Sphaerocarya Wallich 1827 (Santalaceae) and Sphaerocarya Dalzell ex de Candolle 1857 (Olacaceae), is replaced by a new name, Globocarya Doweld nom. nov. (fossil Juglandaceae).

In Situ Amine Formation to Modulate MOF‐Derived PdIn N‐Doped Carbon Catalysts
An amine‐assisted approach converts PdIn‐MOF into PdIn intermetallic nanoparticles embedded in N‐doped carbon. In situ‐generated amines trigger early Pd nucleation, producing smaller PdIn domains than direct pyrolysis. Amine sterics and basicity tune composition and particle size, while solvent and amine co‐determine textural features.
