Calculated strength of irradiated ferritics

Journal of Nuclear Materials, 1985
Abstract Effects of irradiation on dislocation recovery kinetics and strengthening have been calculated and compared to reported responses in Fe-2 1 4 Cr-lMo steels. The analysis indicates that predicted interstitial loop growth causes increases in strength at 673 K that are comparable to measure increases in strength at 10 dpa.

Strength calculation of polymer pipline elements

Proceedings. The 8th Russian-Korean International Symposium on Science and Technology, 2004. KORUS 2004., 2005
The results of numerical calculation of limiting deformations of the two temperature-expansion compensators for polypropylene pipelines are submitted for the temperature range from 0/spl deg/C up to +80/spl deg/C. The calculations made allowed for the dependence of hyperelastic polymer materials properties on temperature.

CALCULATION OF THE STRENGTH AUGER

Bulletin of Shakarim University. Technical Sciences
At present, many types of centrifugal equipment are used in various industries. Among them are: continuously working filter screw centrifuges, pulsating, inertial, vibrating sludge unloading and deposition screw centrifuges. This is the most efficient equipment used in the food and meat industries and providing high-quality separation of liquid ...

Calculating carbon nanotube–catalyst adhesion strengths

Physical Review B, 2007
Density-functional theory is used to assess the validity of modeling metal clusters as single atoms or rings of atoms when determining adhesion strengths between clusters and single-walled carbon n ...

Construction and Strength Calculation of Threats

2016
Threats make part of the set of rhetorical arguments, which are used in negotiation dialogues when a proponent agent tries to persuade his opponent to accept a proposal more readily. When more than one threat is generated, the proponent must evaluate each and select the most adequate.

Theory and calculation of fabric strength

Fibre Chemistry, 2011
A theory of biaxial stretching of fabric taking account of the extensibility of the warp and weft threads and the structural changes occurring in the fabric during deformation is presented. The problem of calculating the loads arising in a fabric undergoing stretching is solved for a fabric with prescribed structure and density over the warp and weft ...

Calculation of Strength and Other Properties

1986
A necessary condition for quality control, as well as for the correct calculation of the specifications of gas-filled materials (including polymeric foams), is a rigorous quantitative evaluation of the apparent density distribution over the bulk.

Profitability calculations under trial of strength

2019
The purpose of this paper is to examine the organizational construction of profit at the responsibility-centre level, how underlying cost calculations are challenged, and the role of accountants therein. Design/methodology/approach This paper analyses profit calculation in a public social housing organization that experienced New Public Management (NPM)
