Construction and Strength Calculation of Threats
2016Threats make part of the set of rhetorical arguments, which are used in negotiation dialogues when a proponent agent tries to persuade his opponent to accept a proposal more readily. When more than one threat is generated, the proponent must evaluate each and select the most adequate.

Strength calculation of cutting tools
International Journal of Machine Tools and Manufacture, 1994Abstract A review of the basic analytical approaches used for the strength calculation of cutting tools is presented in this article. A new, less labour-consuming and more accessible approach is offered according to which the complicated theoretical models for the determination of the magnitude, region, direction and distribution of the cutting ...

Recent Advances in the Calculation of Oscillator Strengths
Physica Scripta, 1977A review of work published since the last beam-foil spectroscopy conference in Gatlinburg (1975) is presented. For allowed transitions whereLScoupling is valid, the NCMET and FOTOS schemes are compared and an extension of the application of FOTOS is proposed.

CALCULATION OF THE STRENGTH AUGER
Bulletin of Shakarim University. Technical SciencesAt present, many types of centrifugal equipment are used in various industries. Among them are: continuously working filter screw centrifuges, pulsating, inertial, vibrating sludge unloading and deposition screw centrifuges. This is the most efficient equipment used in the food and meat industries and providing high-quality separation of liquid ...

Calculated strength of irradiated ferritics
Journal of Nuclear Materials, 1985Abstract Effects of irradiation on dislocation recovery kinetics and strengthening have been calculated and compared to reported responses in Fe-2 1 4 Cr-lMo steels. The analysis indicates that predicted interstitial loop growth causes increases in strength at 673 K that are comparable to measure increases in strength at 10 dpa.

Theory and calculation of fabric strength
Fibre Chemistry, 2011A theory of biaxial stretching of fabric taking account of the extensibility of the warp and weft threads and the structural changes occurring in the fabric during deformation is presented. The problem of calculating the loads arising in a fabric undergoing stretching is solved for a fabric with prescribed structure and density over the warp and weft ...

Calculation of the Strength of Combined Filaments
Fibre Chemistry, 2014This article examines how the strength of a finished combined filament is affected by the interaction between its rod-shaped component and its twisting component. It is argued that it is important to optimize the number of twists. The character of the changes which take place in the filament’s geometric parameters during tensile loading is also ...

Calculations of the strength of the polyethylene molecule
Journal of Polymer Science: Polymer Physics Edition, 1973AbstractA theoretical determination of the elastic modulus, the breaking strength, and breaking strain is made for a single infinitely long molecule of polyethylene (CH2)∞. These results are compared with those of a similar calculation on a molecule of polyethylene with a side chain attached.

Calculation of the strength of spherical covers
Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, 1968The manufacture of spherical covers, extensively used in chemical engineering, is simple; for the same thickness they are 30% lighter in weight than elliptical covers. Apart from that, the use of spherical covers improves the appearance of apparatus. The theoretical investigations on the strength of spherical covers are well known [I].

On the calculation of phosphorescence oscillator strength
Monatshefte fr Chemie, 1980It is pointed out that one of the two commonly used expressions for calculating the oscillator strength of phosphorescence transitions is incomplete. By using the adequate transition operator, a correction term is added to one of the two expressions which then become analytically equivalent up to second order in the fine structure constant.
