PVD Coatings’ Strength Properties at Various Temperatures by Nanoindentations and FEM Calculations Determined [PDF]
Nanoindentation is usually applied on thin films at ambient temperatures for hardness determination. Recently, instruments for conducting nanoindentation at elevated temperatures have been developed facilitating measurements up to 700 oC.

CRITERIAL METHOD OF CALCULATIONS OF LONG-TERM STABILITY OF THE BOREHOLE
The article examines the possibility of applying the Mohr - Coulomb short-term strength criterion to the calculations of long-term stability of open oil wells. The results of calculation of long-term and short-term strength on the basis of the polygon of

Liquid-vapour phase behaviour of a symmetrical binary fluid mixture
Using Monte-Carlo simulation and mean field calculations, we study the liquid-vapour phase diagram of a square well binary fluid mixture as a function of a parameter $\delta$ measuring the relative strength of interactions between particles of dissimilar

Analytic calculation of field-strength correlators [PDF]
Field correlators are expressed using background field formalism through the gluelump Green's functions. The latter are obtained in the path integral and Hamiltonian formalism. As a result behaviour of field correlators is obtained at small and large distances both for perturbative and nonperturbative parts.

Low energy monopole Modes of a Trapped atomic Fermi Gas
We consider the low energy collective monopole modes of a trapped weakly interacting atomic Fermi gas in the collisionless regime. The spectrum is calculated for varying coupling strength and chemical potential.

We consider the relationship between P-wave pi-N scattering and the strength of the P-wave two-pion-exchange three-nucleon interaction (TPE3NI). We explain why effective theories that do not contain the delta resonance as an explicit degree of freedom ...

Gamow-Teller strength in 54Fe and 56Fe
Through a sequence of large scale shell model calculations, total Gamow-Teller strengths ($S_+$ and $S_-$) in $^{54}$Fe and $^{56}$Fe are obtained. They reproduce the experimental values once the $\sigma\tau$ operator is quenched by the standard factor ...
