Corrosion Fatigue Crack Propagation Behaviour of a High Strength Low Alloy Steel in a Synthetic Sea Water Environment. [PDF]
The corrosion fatigue crack propagation behaviour of a high strength low alloy steel, N-A-XTRA 70, in a synthetic sea water solution was tested using S. E. N. specimens subjected to a loading frequency of 0.1 Hz and a load ratio of 0.6.

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Recovery of Muscle Function Following Strength Training in Rowers
Strength training using free weights is performed by athletes in many sports as a means of enhancing performance. However, there is a dearth of research investigating the acute impact of bouts of this form of strength training on muscle function, which ...

Constitutive equations capable of describing the strength-differential effect
In the context of a purely mechanical rate-type theory of elastic plastic materials, a special set of constitutive equations is discussed. These equations are capable of describing the strength differential effect and also predict a plastic volume change.

TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.

Effect of Low-melting-point Curing Agent on Property of Epoxy Resin
Effect of low-melting-point curing agent (MOEA) on property of epoxy resin was studied. The properties of epoxy resin (MOEA40) with MOEA as the curing agent were characterized and compared with the epoxy resin (DDM30) with 4, 4'-diaminodiphenyl methane ...

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.
