Probabilistic Modeling of Creep and Stress–Strain Diagram

2016
The standard deterministic procedure of structural design generally comprises two parts . During the first phase, stresses, and strains caused by external loads are calculated. These problems are addressed using methods of the theory of elasticity, theory of plasticity, and other like disciplines.

A Mathematical Model Depicting the Stress-Strain Diagram and the Hysteresis Loop

Journal of Applied Mechanics, 1959
Abstract A model is made up of elastoplastic elements, all of which have the same value of Young’s modulus E, but which have different values of yield stress. It is shown that the dimensionless tangent modulus graph Et/E represents the cumulative frequency distribution of those elements which are in the elastic region. From the frequency

Implementation of the forming limit stress diagram in FEM simulations

Journal of Materials Processing Technology, 2000
Abstract The purpose of the present work is the implementation of the forming limit diagrams determined by perturbation theory in FEM simulations. The computed strain distribution is compared directly with the theoretical forming limit diagrams and forming limit stress diagrams.

Changes in the shape of the stress diagram for reinforced concrete beams

Matériaux et Constructions, 1982
When the load of a reinforced concrete beam is increased or when a constant load is active over a long period, changes in the shape of the diagram in the compressed and tensioned areas of the beam cross section can be observed. The paper analyses the nature of those changes and proposes a practical method for their calculation.

Use of Allowable Stress Diagrams for Designing Automotive Parts

SAE Technical Paper Series, 1962
<div class="htmlview paragraph">Typical solutions for automotive strength problems are complicated by such variables as driver habits and road conditions, but the inclusion of a safety factor when designing for fatigue loading modifies these intangibles to some extent. Two different loading systems are discussed in this article to demonstrate the

Psychology of stress-resistant behavior in diagrams and drawings

The textbook vividly and comprehensively highlights the problem of stress-resistant behavior that is relevant in the life of a modern person. Ways to prevent and mitigate the negative effects of stress are considered in the context of the biopsychosocial nature of man.
