Combining Electrospinning and Electrode Printing for the Fabrication of Stretchable Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2021
Stretchable conductors and organic electrochemical transistors (OECT) were fabricated from PEDOT:Tos (poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):iron tosylate) nanofibers.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Crack‐Controlled Stretchable Gold Conductive Electrode through One‐Step Carbon Nanotube Spray Deposition

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials
Stretchable conductors are the key components of stretchable and wearable electronics systems. Although the micro‐structured cracking method is promising for realizing stretchable conductors, controlling the formation of cracks in stretchable conductors ...

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

An Ionically Conductive, Self-Powered and Stable Organogel for Pressure Sensing

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2022
Gel-based ionic conductors are promising candidates for flexible electronics, serving as stretchable sensors or electrodes. However, most of them suffer from a short operating life, low conductivity and rely on an external power supply, limiting their ...

Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Advanced printing technique for transferring graphene layer into elastomer for stretchable conductors with tunable mechanical and electrical properties

open access: yesInternational Journal of Smart and Nano Materials
Flexible and stretchable conductors have been widely considered crucial components in future electronic devices, due to their ability to maintain good conductivity while being bent and/or stretched, i.e.

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...
