On Take It or Leave It Offers in Common Agency [PDF]

open access: yes
If the agent's preference relation satisfies a strict monotonicity condition in common agency under the asymmetric information, the set of all equilibrium allocations in the menu game where menus of contracts are allowed coincides with the set of all ...

Toward Energy Efficient Electrochemical Valorization of Waste Nitrate and Sulfide

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces an integrated electrochemical strategy couples nitrate reduction with sulfide oxidation for energy‐efficient wastewater valorization. A Cu‐Co dual‑site catalyst, engineered for close proximity, promotes *NO2 relay and subsequently NH3 formation, enabling the system to operate at substantially reduced cell voltages and produce high ...

Existence and properties of traveling waves for doubly nonlocal Fisher-KPP equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2019
We consider a reaction-diffusion equation with nonlocal anisotropic diffusion and a linear combination of local and nonlocal monostable-type reactions in a space of bounded functions on R^d. Using the properties of the corresponding semiflow, we prove

Universal Conductance Fluctuations in Quantum Anomalous Hall Insulators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Universal conductance fluctuations are observed in mesoscopic quantum anomalous Hall insulators. Two distinct fluctuation patterns are identified, arising from different interference processes of bulk and chiral edge states, respectively. These findings unveil rich quantum interference phenomena in quantum anomalous Hall insulators and provide insights

Existence of minimizers of multi-constrained variational problems for product functions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2018
We prove the existence of minimizers of a class of multi-constrained variational problems in which the non linearity involved is a product function not satisfying compactness, monotonicity, neither symmetry properties.

Self‐Assembled Monolayers in p–i–n Perovskite Solar Cells: Molecular Design, Interfacial Engineering, and Machine Learning–Accelerated Material Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights the role of self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) in perovskite solar cells, covering molecular engineering, multifunctional interface regulation, machine learning (ML) accelerated discovery, advanced device architectures, and pathways toward scalable fabrication and commercialization for high‐efficiency and stable single‐junction and

Sufficient conditions for nonexistence of gradient blow-up for nonlinear parabolic equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2007
In this paper we study the initial-boundary value problems for nonlinear parabolic equations without Bernstein-Nagumo condition. Sufficient conditions guaranteeing the nonexistence of gradient blow-up are formulated.

Meissner Effect and Nonreciprocal Charge Transport in Non‐Topological 1T‐CrTe2/FeTe Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates interface‐induced superconductivity (Tc ∼12 K) with a robust Meissner effect and pronounced nonreciprocal transport in epitaxial 1T‐CrTe2/FeTe heterostructures, where 1T‐CrTe2 is a 2D ferromagnet, and FeTe is an antiferromagnetic metal.

Multi-Environmental Reliability Evaluation for Complex Equipment: A Strict Intuitionistic Fuzzy Distance Measure-Based Multi-Attribute Group Decision-Making Framework

open access: yesMachines
The theoretical reliability of complex equipment often significantly deviates from real-world performance due to the inherent influence of diverse environmental and operational factors, making scientific reliability evaluation particularly challenging ...

Single-Valuedness of the Demand Correspondence and Strict Convexity of Preferences: An Equivalence Result [PDF]

open access: yes
If preferences are rational and continuous, then strict convexity implies that the demand correspondence is single-valued (e.g. Barten and B¨ohm, 1982, lemma 7.3).
