A Practical Noise2Noise Denoising Pipeline for High‐Throughput Raman Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A lightweight and reproducible denoising pipeline for high‐throughput Raman spectroscopy is introduced, based on a 1D convolutional autoencoder trained with a Noise2Noise strategy. Using only repeated short‐exposure acquisitions, the method suppresses stochastic noise without reference spectra, enabling reliable spectral reconstruction while preserving

Monotonicities of Quasi-Normed Orlicz Spaces

open access: yesAxioms
In this paper, we introduce a new Orlicz function, namely a b-Orlicz function, which is not necessarily convex. The Orlicz spaces LΦ generated by the b-Orlicz function Φ equipped with a Luxemburg quasi-norm contain both classical spaces Lp(p≥1) and Lp ...

Defect Evolution and Mechanical Performance of Fused Filament Fabrication‐Manufactured 17‐4PH Stainless Steel Revealed by X‐Ray Computed Tomography

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
X‐ray computed tomography reveals how process‐induced defects evolve from green to sintered states in Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF)‐manufactured 17‐4PH stainless steel. Internal porosity, weakest cross‐sections, and fracture locations show strong correlation with tensile performance, demonstrating the potential of computed tomography (CT)‐based ...

Strict Monotonicity and Unique Continuation for General Non-local Eigenvalue Problems

open access: yesTaiwanese Journal of Mathematics, 2020
We consider the weighted eigenvalue problem for a general non-local pseudo-differential operator, depending on a bounded weight function. For such problem, we prove that strict (decreasing) monotonicity of the eigenvalues with respect to the weight function is equivalent to the unique continuation property of eigenfunctions.

New AI‐Assisted Approach for Expanding the Solution Space: Application to Lattice Structure Design

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces an innovative framework for designing structured materials by ex panding the design space through reparameterization of qualitative variables into continuous structural descriptors. Combined with machine‐learning‐based prediction and multi‐objective optimization, the approach enables the discovery of novel lattice architectures ...

Spectrum of one dimensional p-Laplacian operator with indefinite weight

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2002
This paper is concerned with the nonlinear boundary eigenvalue problem $$-(|u'|^{p-2}u')'=\lambda m|u|^{p-2}u\qquad u \in I=]a,b[,\quad u(a)=u(b)=0,$$ where $p>1$, $\lambda$ is a real parameter, $m$ is an indefinite weight, and $a$, $b$ are real numbers.

Additive Manufacturing of Alumina‐Reinforced Elastomers

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Vat‐photopolymerized elastomers reinforced with platelet‐shaped alumina exhibited preferential orientation, reduced porosity, and significantly enhanced mechanical performance. A 3 wt% platelet loading increased tensile strength from 12.4 to 45.7 MPa, highlighting the critical role of filler morphology in elastomeric VPP composites.

Regional division and reduction algorithm for minimizing the sum of linear fractional functions

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
This paper presents a practicable regional division and cut algorithm for minimizing the sum of linear fractional functions over a polyhedron. In the algorithm, by using an equivalent problem (P) of the original problem, the proposed division operation ...
