Stimulus‐Induced Self‐Reinforcement in Supramolecular Bamboo Plastics toward Mechanical Robustness and Programmable Shapeability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A self‐reinforcement strategy is reported for the fabrication of bamboo plastics utilizing ethanol to induce the supramolecular network reconstruction of cellulose and polyacrylamide molecules. These bamboo plastics exhibit high mechanical strength, excellent thermal stability, resistance to low temperatures, and controllable shapeability.

Deep Volumetric Super‐Resolution Imaging in Thick Biological Specimens With Sparse Scanning SIM

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sparse scanning structured illumination microscopy (SS‐SIM) extends the axial depth in super‐resolution fluorescence imaging by combining rapid laser scanning, pixel‐addressed intensity modulation, and sCMOS camera detection. SS‐SIM yields 1.6× lateral and 1.7× axial resolution gains over wide‐field microscopy and enables imaging through 300–600 µm ...

Peripherally Fluorinated Tetraphenylethene: New Electron Extraction Interlayers for n‐i‐p Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Fluorinated tetraphenylethene (TPE) derivatives were developed as interfacial layers for perovskite solar cells. The optimized TFP‐TPE enhances interfacial compatibility, suppresses molecular aggregation, and improves charge extraction. Devices incorporating TFP‐TPE achieved a record efficiency of 25.29% and outstanding stability under humidity and ...

DEFORMATION AND BASIN FORMATION ALONG STRIKE-SLIP FAULTS

open access: yes, 1985
Significant advances during the decade 1975 to 1985 in understanding the geology of basins along strike-slip faults include the following: (1) paleomagnetic and other evidence for very large magnitude strike slip in some orogenic belts; (2) abundant paleo-magnetic evidence for the pervasive rotation of blocks about vertical axes within broad ...
