Extending the Range of Sizes of Monodisperse Core‐Shell Hydrogel Capsules from Composite Jet Breakup by Combined Electrical and Mechanical Actuation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present a microfluidic approach combining electrical and mechanical actuation to improve control over liquid jet breakup and droplet formation. By adjusting excitation frequency and applying an electric field, coalescence is reduced and droplet uniformity is enhanced.

Harnessing Machine Learning to Enhance Transition State Search with Interatomic Potentials and Generative Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Comprehensive evaluation of MLIPs and generative models for TS search using an end‐to‐end benchmark platform. Success rates, TS quality, and barrier prediction errors are systematically compared across models. The results reveal key performance trade‐offs and provide actionable insights for improving ML‐based transition state search and reaction ...

Regulating PPARG Reduces Lipid Accumulation in Microglia and Promotes Functional Recovery After Spinal Cord Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Macrophages infiltrate the spinal cord post‐injury, decreasing over time. Microglia phagocytose myelin debris, increasing lipid accumulation. Macrophage deletion improves outcomes, while microglial deletion worsens them. The LD+ microglia subtype shows abnormal Pparg signaling.

Physical States in the $W_3$ String

open access: yes, 1992
We present a review of some of the recent developments in the study of the $W_3$ string. One of the interesting features of the theory is that the physical spectrum includes states with non-standard ghost structure, such as excitations of the ghost fields, both for discrete-momentum and continuous-momentum states.

Middle Interlayer Engineered Ferroelectric NAND Flash Overcoming Reliability and Stability Bottlenecks for Next‐Generation High‐Density Storage Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A gate‐injection‐type Fe‐NAND architecture is developed by incorporating an Al2O3 middle interlayer to address key challenges in reliability and scalability. The engineered gate stack enables a wide memory window at low voltage, enhances retention beyond 10 years, suppresses disturbance and threshold voltage variability, and supports array‐level ...
