Open-string singlet interaction as pomeron in elastic $pp, p\bar{p}$ scattering [PDF]
We consider contributions of the open-string singlet~(OSS) interaction to the proton-proton scattering. Modelling baryon and meson as instanton and open string in the effective QCD string model, the typical pomeron is identified with a massive spin-2 closed string.

A Universal w String Theory [PDF]
It has been shown that there is a sequential embedding structure in a $w_N$\ string theory based on a linearized $W_N$\ algebra. The $w_N$\ string theory is obtained as a special realization of the $w_{N+1}$\ string. The $w_{\infty}$\ string theory is a universal string theory in this sense. We have also shown that there is a similar sequence for $N=1$\

Toward Design Principles for Biomolecular Condensates for Metabolic Pathways
Biomolecular condensates are membrane‐less compartments found through‐out nature which can serve as reaction crucibles for biochemical processes. This review explores the design strategies underlying how condensates can be used in biotechnology to enhance multistep enzyme cascades including enhancement by mass action and substrate channeling, and ...

STRING STRING DUALITY CONJECTURE IN SIX DIMENSIONS AND CHARGED SOLITONIC STRINGS [PDF]
It has recently been conjectured that the type IIA string theory compactified on K3 and the heterotic string theory compactified on a four dimensional torus describe identical string theories. The fundamental heterotic string can be regarded as a non-singular soliton solution of the type IIA string theory with a semi-infinite throat.

The fabrication and post‐treatment via solvent annealing of poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate‐based electrodes using spray deposition in a roll‐to‐roll setup are presented. The decrease in sheet resistance and its correlation with nanostructure and molecular structure in the electrodes as a function of the processing parameters is ...

Eikonal scattering in Kaluza-Klein gravity
We study eikonal scattering in the context of Kaluza-Klein theory by considering a massless scalar field coupled to Einstein’s gravity in 5D compactified to 4D on a manifold M 4 × S 1.

Classical solutions and their double copy in split signature
The three-point amplitude is the key building block in the on-shell approach to scattering amplitudes. We show that the classical objects computed by massive three-point amplitudes in gauge theory and gravity are Newman-Penrose scalars in a split ...

Direct Consolidation of Copper–Graphene Composite by Rotary Swaging
The applicability of the rotary swaging method for preparation of electroconductive copper–graphene composite by direct consolidation of powders is proven. The consolidated material features advantageous microstructure featuring fine grains and twins, with homogeneous distribution of graphene, primarily along the twin boundaries, which contribute to ...

Flowsheet generation through hierarchical reinforcement learning and graph neural networks
Abstract Process synthesis experiences a disruptive transformation accelerated by artificial intelligence. We propose a reinforcement learning algorithm for chemical process design based on a state‐of‐the‐art actor‐critic logic. Our proposed algorithm represents chemical processes as graphs and uses graph convolutional neural networks to learn from ...
