String deformations induced by retardation effects [PDF]

open access: yesEur.Phys.J. A31 (2007) 213, 2006
The rotating string model is an effective model of mesons, in which the quark and the antiquark are linked by a straight string. We previously developed a new framework to include the retardation effects in the rotating string model, but the string was still kept straight.

Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

The potential for string backgrounds from string geometry theory [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
String geometry theory is one of the candidates of the non-perturbative formulation of string theory. In this paper, in the bosonic closed sector of string geometry theory, we identify string background configurations, which include general string backgrounds in bosonic closed string theory.

SL(2, Z) Duality and Magnetically Charged Strings [PDF]

open access: yesInt.J.Mod.Phys.A8:5079-5094,1993, 1993
Postulate of SL(2,\Z) invariance of toroidally compactified heterotic string theory in four dimensions implies the existence of new string (dual string) states carrying both, electric and magnetic charges. In this paper we study the interaction between these dual strings.

Mesenchymal Stem Cells‐Derived Extracellular Vesicles Mimetics as Osteoinductive Mediators for Bone Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Mesenchymal stem cell‐derived nanoghosts (MSC‐NGs) mimic naturally secreted extracellular vesicles (MSC‐EVs) in structure and physicochemical properties but can be synthesized at more translatable yields. As osteogenic agents, MSC‐NGs demonstrate superior outcomes compared to MSC‐EVs.

The Regge limit of AdS3 holographic correlators

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We study the Regge limit of 4-point AdS3 × S 3 correlators in the tree-level supergravity approximation and provide various explicit checks of the relation between the eikonal phase derived in the bulk picture and the anomalous dimensions of certain ...

Twist Field as Three String Interaction Vertex in Light Cone String Field Theory [PDF]

open access: yesNucl.Phys.B744:221-237,2006, 2006
It has been suggested that matrix string theory and light-cone string field theory are closely related. In this paper, we investigate the relation between the twist field, which represents string interactions in matrix string theory, and the three-string interaction vertex in light-cone string field theory carefully.

Roulette‐Inspired Physical Unclonable Functions: Stochastic yet Deterministic Multi‐Bit Patterning through the Solutal Marangoni Effect

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Geometric multi‐bit patterning based on dynamic wetting and dewetting phenomena creates roulette‐like Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) labels with stochastic yet deterministic properties. This method leverages the solutal‐Marangoni effect for high randomness while achieving deterministic multinary patterns through polygonal confinement of binary ...

Modular forms and SL(2, ℤ)-covariance of type IIB superstring theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
The local higher-derivative interactions that enter into the low-energy expansion of the effective action of type IIB superstring theory with constant complex modulus generally violate the U(1) R-symmetry of IIB supergravity by q U units.

Closed String Cohomology in Open String Field Theory [PDF]

open access: yesJHEP 1107:022,2011, 2010
We show that closed string states in bosonic string field theory are encoded in the cyclic cohomology of cubic open string field theory (OSFT) which, in turn, classifies the deformations of OSFT. This cohomology is then shown to be independent of the open string background.
