Biadjoint scalar field theory has been the subject of much recent study, due to a number of applications in field and string theory. The catalogue of exact non-linear solutions of this theory is relatively unexplored, despite having a role to play in ...

Electric‐Current‐Assisted Nucleation of Zero‐Field Hopfion Rings
This work reports a novel and efficient nucleation protocol for 3D localized topological magnetic solitons‐hopfion rings in chiral magnets using pulsed electric currents. By using Lorentz transmission electron microscopy and topological analysis, we report characteristic features and extraordinary stability of hopfion rings in zero or inverted external

Exotic branes in Exceptional Field Theory: the SL(5) duality group
We study how exotic branes, i.e. branes whose tensions are proportional to g s − α , with α > 2, are realised in Exceptional Field Theory (EFT). The generalised torsion of the Weitzenböck connection of the SL(5) EFT which, in the language of gauged ...

Generative Models for Crystalline Materials
Generative machine learning models are increasingly used in crystalline materials design. This review outlines major generative approaches and assesses their strengths and limitations. It also examines how generative models can be adapted to practical applications, discusses key experimental considerations for evaluating generated structures, and ...

This critical review presents a comprehensive roadmap for the precision 3D printing of cellulose. Quantitative correlations link ink formulation and rheological properties to print fidelity and final material performance. This framework guides the development of advanced functional materials, from biomedical scaffolds to electromagnetic shielding ...

Two-loop scattering amplitudes: double-forward limit and colour-kinematics duality
We propose new formulae for the two-loop n-point D-dimensional integrands of scattering amplitudes in Yang-Mills theory and gravity. The loop integrands are written as a double-forward limit of tree-level trivalent diagrams, and are inferred from the ...

Non-Riemannian geometry of M-theory
We construct a background for M-theory that is moduli free. This background is then shown to be related to a topological phase of the E8(8) exceptional field theory (ExFT).

Nanoporous Microelectrodes for Neural Electrophysiology Recordings in Organotypic Culture
The highly porous microelectrodes have been designed and printed on culture membranes, allowing to record electrophysiological neural activity for rodent brain slices. To keep the biocompatible nanoporous structure, the microelectrodes and insulative layer are fabricated on the bottom of culture membranes with only small connector pads added on the top.

Advanced Design for Weakly Coupled Resonators by Automatic Active Optimization
An Automatic Active Optimization (AAO) strategy integrates machine learning predictors and genetic algorithms in a closed‐loop workflow. By iteratively expanding its dataset with new discoveries, AAO overcomes the limits of conventional methods. This approach finds superior microstructural designs beyond the initial sample space. We demonstrate this on
