Nonrelativistic pulsating strings
We explore nonrelativistic (NR) pulsating string configurations over torsion Newton-Cartan (TNC) geometry having topology R × S 2 and check the corresponding analytic integrability criteria following Kovacic’s algorithm.

Azimuthal flows in hadron collisions from quark-gluon string repulsion
Color flux tubes (quark-gluon strings), formed at early stages of hadron-hadron collisions, may overlap in case of suffciently high densities and interact, producing longrange azimuthal correlations.

Strong coupling expansion of circular Wilson loops and string theories in AdS5 × S 5 and AdS4 × CP 3
We revisit the problem of matching the strong coupling expansion of the 1 2 $$ \frac{1}{2} $$ BPS circular Wilson loops in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 SYM and ABJM gauge theories with their string theory duals in AdS5 × S 5 and AdS4 × CP 3, at the first ...

The existence of quantum nonliquid states and fracton orders, both gapped and gapless states, challenges our understanding of phases of entangled matter. We generalize the cellular topological states to liquid or nonliquid cellular states.

The volume conjecture and topological strings [PDF]
AbstractIn this paper, we discuss a relation between Jones‐Witten theory of knot invariants and topological open string theory on the basis of the volume conjecture. We find a similar Hamiltonian structure for both theories, and interpret the AJ conjecture as the 𝒟‐module structure for a D‐brane partition function.

Global monopoles can change Universe's topology [PDF]
If the Universe undergoes a phase transition, at which global monopoles are created or destroyed, topology of its spatial sections can change. More specifically, by making use of Myers' theorem, we show that, after a transition in which global monopoles ...

Orientifolds and the refined topological string [PDF]
We study refined topological string theory in the presence of orientifolds by counting second-quantized BPS states in M-theory. This leads us to propose a new integrality condition for both refined and unrefined topological strings when orientifolds are present.

Open/Closed String Topology and Moduli Space Actions via Open/Closed Hochschild Actions
In this paper we extend our correlation functions to the open/closed case. This gives rise to actions of an open/closed version of the Sullivan PROP as well as an action of the relevant moduli space. There are several unexpected structures and conditions
