Surface‐Functionalized LLZO‐Incorporated Multilayer Composite Solid Electrolytes for Dendrite Suppression and Efficient Ionic Conduction in Lithium–Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A soft–hard tri‐layer composite electrolyte that couples fast Li+ transport with reinforced interfacial stability to enable high‐conductivity, mechanically robust, dendrite‐free lithium‐metal batteries. ABSTRACT The development of solid polymer electrolytes is central to safe, high‐energy lithium‐metal batteries (LMBs); however, persistent challenges ...

Measuring and Manipulating Density of States in Two‐Dimensional Materials With Electrochemical Capacitance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
We report electrochemical quantum capacitance spectroscopy as an ambient, in situ probe for defect‐mediated electronic structure at 2D material interfaces. Using monolayer MoS2, the method resolves band edges and vacancy states, tracks sulfur‐vacancy evolution during hydrogen evolution, and links interfacial density‐of‐states changes to nearly ...

Development of a computerized electrochemical system for stripping voltammetry

open access: yes, 1990
A computer‐controlled electrochemical system has been developed to determine heavy metal using stripping voltammetry. The system consists of a potentiostat (which we have designed and developed), a polarographic static mercury electrode (303A, PAR), an ...

Determination of heavy metals on macro- and micro-electrodes by adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry and anodic stripping voltammetry

open access: yes, 1999
This thesis describes the application of macro, micro, ultra-microelectrodes and microelectrode arrays to the measurement of trace concentrations of nickel and cobalt in sediment and natural waters by adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetric methods ...

Operando X‐Ray Absorption Spectroscopy Reveals Dynamic Interfacial Metal–Metal Coordination Governing CO2 Reduction Selectivity in PdAg Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Operando X‐ray absorption spectroscopy uncovers dynamic Ag–Pd coordination in PdxAg1−x electrocatalysts during CO2 reduction. Partial oxidation of Ag and composition‐dependent metal–metal bonding synergistically regulate intermediate binding, enabling ∼91% CO selectivity.
