The effect of light on strobilation in the Chesapeake Bay Sea Nettle Chrysaora quinquecirrha
Marine Biology, 1973Previous work (Loeb, 1972) showed that strobilation could be induced in Chrysaora quinquecirrha (Desor) by subjecting polyps to a period of chilling followed by warming. It is shown here, that the onset of strobilation and the rate at which this process occurs in a population of C.
