Return stroke models for engineering applications
2010In this chapter, we will describe and discuss several engineering models that can be utilized either to evaluate electromagnetic fields from lightning flashes or to study the direct effects of lightning attachment to various structures including tall towers. We will start by describing the basic concepts of engineering return stroke models.

Conventional two‐stroke engine lubrication
Industrial Lubrication and Tribology, 1997Gives the results of trials conducted in China which show the use of top‐grade, low smoke, part synthetic two‐stroke oil gives better performance and four times longer engine life than the four‐stroke engine oils generally used to lubricate two‐stroke engines in China. Sets out existing and proposed international standards for two‐stroke engine oils.

Progress in Two-Stroke S.I. Engines
1996Thanks to its lightness, small dimensions and attractive simplicity, the two-stroke, S.I. engine may be potentially preferable to the four-stroke one for city cars and other small vehicles. However, the loss of fresh mixture from the exhaust port, together with bad combustion and/or misfire at light loads constitute great limitations.
