Regional Studies in Marine ScienceMacroinvertebrates from Family Strombidae locally known as " sikad-sikad " are some of the major gleaned species in the intertidal areas. This study investigated the ecology, abundance, distribution, and recruitment of conch species of Family Strombidae in the three coastal barangays (Pandaraonan, Dolores, and Tando) of Guimaras Island.

Sexual dimorphisms in radula of Conomurex persicus (Gastropoda: Strombidae) in the Mediterranean Sea
Marine Biology, 2003Dentition characters of Conomurex persicus found along the Mediterranean coasts of Turkey were analyzed. For the analyses of radula, 289 individuals (34 adult males, 140 adult females and the remainder juve- niles) were examined. Distribution of the Strombus gibberulus complex in Indonesia (Gastropoda, Strombidae)
1970Strombus gibberulus gibberulus L. is living in Indonesia at the western coast of Sumatra from Sabang to the Straits Sunda, and via the Straits in the Java Sea as far as Djakarta Bay. In all the rest of the Indonesian Archipelago the subspecies gibbosus (Röding) is found.

Rediscovery of the holotype of Pterocera kochii Freyer,1855 (Gastropoda, Strombidae).
2010In a recent revision of the shell collection of the Natural History Museum in Trieste, Italy, the holotype of Pterocera kochii Freyer 1855 was found. The original description was published on a difficidt to obtain Austrian magazine and is here fully quoted and translated to English.
