Advanced Fin Design for Efficient Heat Transfer in Double‐Pipe Latent Heat Thermal Storage: A Comparative Study of Straight and Inclined Multielement Fins

open access: yesInternational Journal of Energy Research, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
The inherently low thermal conductivity of phase change materials (PCMs) in latent heat thermal energy storage (LHTES) systems hampers efficient heat transfer during melting and solidification processes. This study aims to enhance PCM thermal performance by optimizing fin geometry within a vertical double‐pipe heat exchanger, with a focus on inclined ...

Adaptive Weighted Variation Restricted Cesàro Means on Walsh‐Type Systems and Applications to Noise‐Robust Signal Smoothing

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
We investigate the convergence and approximation properties of Cesàro means of Walsh‐type Fourier series for functions belonging to classes of weighted bounded variation. Working within the dyadic and 2‐adic framework, we establish new sufficient conditions under which Cesàro means exhibit improved stability and convergence behavior compared with ...

Ergodic Properties of Generalized Integral Operators on Disk Algebra

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this paper, we study ergodic properties of generalized integral operators on the disk algebra. In particular, we introduce the concept of co‐mean ergodicity and we derive sufficient and also necessary conditions for these operators to be (co‐)mean ergodic on the disk algebra.

δ‐Almost Periodic Vectors for Bounded Linear Operators: Geometric and Dynamical Structure

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
We introduce δ‐almost periodic vectors for bounded linear operators on Banach spaces, defined by uniform recurrence to the base point within a fixed tolerance δ ≥ 0. This yields a quantitative relaxation of the case δ = 0. We develop basic structural properties of the classes APδ(T), including monotonicity in δ, positive homogeneity, forward invariance

Analytic and Statistical Convergence Properties in Multiplicative Metric Spaces: A Logarithmic Perspective

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this paper, we revisit the structure of multiplicative metric spaces and investigate analytic notions such as convergence, Cauchy sequences, boundedness, and density within this framework. We extend these concepts to their statistical counterparts, including statistical convergence, statistical Cauchy sequences, statistical boundedness, and ...

Nurses' Handover Satisfaction: Development and Validation of the Handover Quality Questionnaire

open access: yesWorldviews on Evidence-Based Nursing, Volume 22, Issue 6, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Background The handover process is a critical component of patient safety, enabling effective communication and the transfer of responsibility among nurses. However, despite their critical role, it is often compromised by interruptions, lack of standardization, and variability in practice, which may reduce quality and nurse satisfaction ...

On multiplicative recurrence along linear patterns

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 112, Issue 3, September 2025.
Abstract Donoso, Le, Moreira, and Sun (J. Anal. Math. 149 (2023), 719–761) study sets of recurrence for actions of the multiplicative semigroup (N,×)$(\mathbb {N}, \times)$ and provide some sufficient conditions for sets of the form S={(an+b)/(cn+d):n∈N}$S=\lbrace (an+b)/(cn+d) \colon n \in \mathbb {N}\rbrace $ to be sets of recurrence for such actions.

On Modulus Statistical Convergence in Partial Metric Spaces

open access: yesAxioms
Modulus statistical convergence has been studied in very different general settings such as topological spaces and uniform spaces. In this manuscript, modulus statistical convergence is defined and studied in partial metric spaces.

Local spectral theory for subordinated operators: The Cesàro operator and beyond

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 112, Issue 2, August 2025.
Abstract We study local spectral properties for subordinated operators arising from C0$C_0$‐semigroups. Specifically, if T=(Tt)t⩾0$\mathcal {T}=(T_t)_{t\geqslant 0}$ is a C0$C_0$‐semigroup acting boundedly on a complex Banach space and Hν=∫0∞Ttdν(t)$$\begin{equation*} \mathcal {H}_\nu = \int _{0}^{\infty } T_t\; d\nu (t) \end{equation*}$$is the ...

Modulated convergence: a deferred approach

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
In this paper, we further develop the study of the interplay between statistical and strong Cesàro convergence modulated by a modulus function, as initiated in the papers by Saavedra et al. and Romero de la Rosa.
