On the Strong Time Consistency of the Core
Automation and Remote Control, 2018Time consistency is one of desirable properties for any solution of a cooperative dynamic game. If a solution is time-consistent, the players do not need to break a cooperative agreement. In this paper, we consider the core as the solution and establish conditions for its strong time consistency.

In the previous chapter, we have considered the problem of implementing a given social choice correspondence in strong Nash equilibria. In order to do this, we had to find a game form such that at each profile, the set of strong Nash equilibria of the resulting game coincided with the values of the social choice correspondence at this profile.

Basis token consistency: supporting strong Web cache consistency
Global Telecommunications Conference, 2002. GLOBECOM '02. IEEE, 2003With Web caching and cache-related services like CDNs and edge services playing an increasingly significant role in the modern Internet, the problem of the weak consistency and coherence provisions in current Web protocols is drawing increasing attention.

On Mixing Eventual and Strong Consistency: Bayou Revisited
Proceedings of the 2019 ACM Symposium on Principles of Distributed Computing, 2019In this paper we study the properties of eventually consistent distributed systems that feature arbitrarily complex semantics and mix eventual and strong consistency. These systems execute requests in a highly-available, weakly-consistent fashion, but also enable stronger guarantees through additional inter-replica synchronization mechanisms that ...

Strong universal consistency of neural network classifiers
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1993Summary: In statistical pattern recognition a classifier is called universally consistent if its error probability converges to the Bayes-risk as the size of the training data grows, for all possible distributions of the random variable pair of the observation vector and its class.

A strong local consistency for constraint satisfaction
Proceedings 11th International Conference on Tools with Artificial Intelligence, 2003Filtering techniques are essential for efficient solution searching in a constraint network (CN). However, for a long time, it has been considered that to efficiently reduce the search space, the best choice is the limited local consistency achieved by forward checking.

On the Strong Consistency of Ridge Estimates
Communications in Statistics - Theory and Methods, 2014In this article, we establish strong consistency of the ridge estimates using extended results for the strong consistency of the least squares estimates in multiple regression models which discard the usual assumption of null mean value for the errors and only requires them to be i.i.d. with absolute moment of order r (0 < r ⩽ 1).
