Strong convergence of multivariate maxima [PDF]
AbstractIt is well known and readily seen that the maximum of n independent and uniformly on [0, 1] distributed random variables, suitably standardised, converges in total variation distance, as n increases, to the standard negative exponential distribution. We extend this result to higher dimensions by considering copulas.

We correct a logic mistake in our paper “On statistical convergence and strong Cesàro convergence by moduli for double sequences” (León-Saavedra et al. in J. Inequal. Appl. 2022:62, 2022).

On (f, ρ)−Statistical convergence and strong (f, ρ)−summability of order α [PDF]
The main object of this article is to introduce the concepts of (f, ρ)− statistical convergence of order α and strong (f, ρ)− summability of order α of sequences of real numbers and give some inclusion relations between these spaces.

A strong convergence to the Rosenblatt process [PDF]
We give a strong approximation of Rosenblatt process via transport processes and we give the rate of convergence.

On Modulated Lacunary Statistical Convergence of Double Sequences
In earlier works, F. León and coworkers discovered a remarkable structure between statistical convergence and strong Cesàro convergence, modulated by a function f (called a modulus function).

On statistical convergence and strong Cesàro convergence by moduli for double sequences
A remarkable result on summability states that the statistical convergence and the strong Cesàro convergence are closely connected. Given a modulus function f, we will establish that a double sequence that is f-strong Cesàro convergent is always f ...

Data‐driven performance metrics for neural network learning
Summary Effectiveness of data‐driven neural learning in terms of both local mimima trapping and convergence rate is addressed. Such issues are investigated in a case study involving the training of one‐hidden‐layer feedforward neural networks with the extended Kalman filter, which reduces the search for the optimal network parameters to a state ...

On Some Fixed Point Iterative Schemes with Strong Convergence and Their Applications
In this paper, a new one-parameter class of fixed point iterative method is proposed to approximate the fixed points of contractive type mappings.

On strong Npβ(ρ)-convergence and Sβ (ρ) −convergence [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce the concept of strong ρ−convergence of order β ( or Npβ (ρ) −convergence ) of sequence of real numbers and give some inclusion relations between the set of all ρ−statistical convergence of order β and strong Npβ (ρ)− convergence.
