Weak Nuclear Forces cause the Strong Nuclear Force [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2008
We determine the strength of the weak nuclear force which holds the lattices of the elementary particles together. We also determine the strength of the strong nuclear force which emanates from the sides of the nuclear lattices. The strong force is the sum of the unsaturated weak forces at the surface of the nuclear lattices.

Charm quark effects on the strong coupling extracted from the static force* [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
We compute the fermionic contribution to the strong coupling αqq extracted from the static force in Lattice QCD up to order g4 in perturbation theory. This allows us to subtract the leading fermionic lattice artifacts from recent determinations of αqq ...

Non-commutative geometry and the strong force [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1996
The restrictions imposed on the strong force in the `non-commutative standard model' are examined. It is concluded that given the framework of non-commutative geometry and assuming the electroweak sector of the standard model many details of the strong force can be explained including its vectorial nature.

Strong Casimir force reduction through metallic surface nanostructuring [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The Casimir force between bodies in vacuum can be understood as arising from their interaction with an infinite number of fluctuating electromagnetic quantum vacuum modes, resulting in a complex dependence on the shape and material of the interacting ...

Retention of removable partial denture with double crowns [PDF]

open access: yesStomatološki glasnik Srbije, 2004
The aim of this paper is to explain the mechanisms of retention with double crowns, examine the possibility of improving the process of measuring the forces of separating double crowns and suggest the measures for optimizing the retention forces with ...

Apparent negative motion of vortex matter due to inhomogeneous pinning [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We investigate the transport of vortices in superconductors with inhomgeneous pinning under a driving force. The inhomogeneity of pinning is simplified as strong-weak pinning regions. It is demonstrated that the interactions between the vortices captured

Homoclinics for singular strong force Lagrangian systems

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2019
We study the existence of homoclinic solutions for a class of Lagrangian systems ddt$\begin{array}{} \frac{d}{dt} \end{array} $(∇Φ(u̇(t))) + ∇uV(t, u(t)) = 0, where t ∈ ℝ, Φ : ℝ2 → [0, ∞) is a G-function in the sense of Trudinger, V : ℝ × (ℝ2 ∖ {ξ}) → ℝ ...

Ultra-relativistic gravity has properties associated with the strong force

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2019
The equations of motion, as well as the potential energy V of a self-gravitating N-body system in the first post-Minkowskian approximation have recently been derived.
