Nonlinear strong model matching

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1990
The problem of matching a given input-output behavior for systems described by general nonlinear differential equations is considered. It is shown that, by appropriately modifying the zero-dynamics algorithm, it is possible to obtain a simple, necessary, and sufficient condition for the solvability of the model matching problem, which requires that the

NoLiMa: Long-Context Evaluation Beyond Literal Matching

International Conference on Machine Learning
Recent large language models (LLMs) support long contexts ranging from 128K to 1M tokens. A popular method for evaluating these capabilities is the needle-in-a-haystack (NIAH) test, which involves retrieving a"needle"(relevant information) from a ...

A Short Note of Strong Matching Preclusion for a Class of Arrangement Graphs

Parallel Processing Letters, 2020
The strong matching preclusion number of a graph is the minimum number of vertices and edges whose deletion results in a graph that has neither perfect matchings nor almost perfect matchings. The strong matching preclusion is a well-studied measure for the network invulnerability in the event of edge failure.

Phase-matching effects in strong-field harmonic generation

Physical Review A, 1993
We present experimental results of harmonic generation at 1064 nm using a 36-ps neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet laser tightly focused in a gas jet of xenon. The harmonic yields are studied as a function of the position of the focus in the jet at several laser intensities and as a function of intensity at several focus positions.

Strong matching preclusion problem of the folded Petersen cube

International Journal of Computer Mathematics: Computer Systems Theory, 2018
A strong matching preclusion set in a graph is a set of vertices and edges whose removal leaves the graph with no perfect matchings or almost perfect matchings.

Variational Flow Matching for Graph Generation

Neural Information Processing Systems
We present a formulation of flow matching as variational inference, which we refer to as variational flow matching (VFM). Based on this formulation we develop CatFlow, a flow matching method for categorical data.

Classic GNNs are Strong Baselines: Reassessing GNNs for Node Classification

Neural Information Processing Systems
Graph Transformers (GTs) have recently emerged as popular alternatives to traditional message-passing Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), due to their theoretically superior expressiveness and impressive performance reported on standard node classification ...

Frieren: Efficient Video-to-Audio Generation Network with Rectified Flow Matching

Neural Information Processing Systems
Video-to-audio (V2A) generation aims to synthesize content-matching audio from silent video, and it remains challenging to build V2A models with high generation quality, efficiency, and visual-audio temporal synchrony.
